1. Overview
These terms apply to all design services provided by Print Tailors. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
If you have any questions before proceeding with a project, we’re always happy to clarify.
2. Project Scope
Each project is outlined in a written proposal or agreement prior to commencement. This will detail:
-
Scope of work
-
Deliverables
-
Estimated timeline
-
Fees
Any additional work outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges, which will always be discussed and approved in advance.
3. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project in our schedule. Work will begin only once the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due prior to final file release.
For larger projects, staged payments may be agreed upon in advance.
Late payments may result in delays to project timelines.
4. Revisions
Projects include a set number of revision rounds, as outlined in the proposal.
Additional revisions outside the agreed scope may incur additional fees.
We aim to keep the process collaborative and clear, and encourage open communication throughout.
5. Intellectual Property
Final design files and approved deliverables become the client’s property once full payment has been received.
Print Tailors retains the right to display completed work in portfolios, websites, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any unused concepts or draft materials remain the intellectual property of Print Tailors.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
-
Provide timely feedback
-
Supply requested information or materials
-
Review and approve deliverables promptly
Delays in communication may affect agreed timelines.
7. Cancellations & Pauses
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the initial deposit is non-refundable.
If a project is paused for more than 30 days without prior agreement, we reserve the right to reschedule and revise timelines.
8. Website Projects
For website design projects:
-
Clients are responsible for providing final content (text, imagery, etc.) unless copywriting has been agreed.
-
Once the website is approved and published, ongoing maintenance is the responsibility of the client unless a separate support agreement is in place.
-
Print Tailors is not responsible for third-party platform changes, hosting issues, or external integrations after project completion.
9. Limitation of Liability
While we take care to deliver high-quality work, Print Tailors is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of final deliverables.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all materials before print or publication.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
